I’ve been with Delta since 2010. I started my career in 1998 at Northwest, and came over in the merger.

One of management’s favorite union-busting lines is that a union would ruin our “direct relationship.” But the reality is that our work rules and policies are only flexible when it benefits management. A recent question from a Flight Attendant about uniforms is a perfect example.

One of the best things about being a Flight Attendant is the flexibility. Or at least it used to be.

The AFA pin is a symbol of our collective strength. When we wear the AFA pin, it shows our flying partners and management that we support building our Flight Attendant union and we take pride in the work we do.

Solidarity lifts us all up. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’re coming together with our siblings below the wing to organize across Delta.

I grew up in a Delta family. My dad worked for the company growing up and I was a non-rev kid, I started in RAMP in 2016, then joined in-flight in 2018.

For the first few years, I felt like Delta took care of us. But then I saw what happens when something goes wrong.
