A week ago on the eve of the holiday weekend and all of the challenges we faced in the operation, management announced the new TikTok policy that is unclear in how it will be applied and inconsistent with the federal regulation it claims to be following.

Despite working for the most profitable airline, Delta Flight Attendants continue to lose out on compensation in regards to holiday pay. Delta management recognizes seven paid holidays for IFS. Management also determines how holiday pay is calculated.

Once again, we are dealing with an irregular operation (IROP) across the system caused by summer’s severe weather. However, the bad weather does not justify Delta management’s unfair and inconsistent treatment of Delta Flight Attendants.

This month, we went to the Delta Annual Shareholder Meeting with our siblings from the ramp and the mechanics organizing their unions with the IAM and the Teamsters to talk about Shareholder Proposition #6 — Adoption of Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining Policy.

Summer is chaotic, especially when plans for layovers and our days off are distrupted by reroutes and extensions, all while waiting hours for updates to our trips, hotels, and transportation.
