The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA Executive Board unanimously adopted the following resolution on June 5, 2020:

AFA’s mission is to unite all Flight Attendants and promote equality and employment for all, regardless of race, color, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. This has been codified in our Constitution since 1976.

“The rage coursing through the streets of Minneapolis and other cities is born from hundreds of years of oppression, exploitation and violence boiling over. I do not cheer any form of violence, but we must be clear eyed about where core responsibility lies.

Today is International Flight Attendant Appreciation Day! Thank you, Aviation’s First Responders, for all that you do and for serving as essential workers throughout this pandemic.

Delta Flight Attendants are receiving our July schedules. So far, management has refused to put in place a minimum monthly guarantee like the United and American contracts. Management instead claim those flying will have a minimum schedule value in the low 70 hours.
