The Value of Our Schedules

The May bid packet is out and once again (just like last year), Delta management has conveniently put our schedule values one hour shy of triggering our ability to earn override pay. Just like they did in April.

It’s a pattern. Management set schedule values one hour shy of triggering override pay in May 2026, April 2026, December 2025, October 2025, September 2025, August 2025, June 2025, May 2025, April 2025. And in 2024, management unilaterally removed the summer incentive program.

Pay enhancements that management never intends to let us access are nothing more than lip service. We need an override program that we control, like Union Flight Attendants do at United, Frontier, and Alaska. Here are just a few examples of what we could lock in with our contract:

These incentive programs are active year-round and not tied to any particular month or average schedule value. We deserve protections for low-time and high-time months, and the only way to get that is through a legally binding contract.
