45,000 Delta Strong

Solidarity lifts us all up. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’re coming together with our siblings below the wing to organize across Delta.

Starting today, Flight Attendants organizing with AFA-CWA, RAMP agents organizing with IAM, and mechanics organizing with the Teamsters will work together to secure our unions at Delta.

Read more about our coordinated campaign in this story from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, then share it on social media to spread the solidarity!

Aviation is the most densely-organized industry in the country. Almost 80% of U.S. aviation workers have a union contract and a seat at the table. By working together across work groups at Delta, we can secure our seat and strengthen Delta for all of us. We can make sure that the people of Delta have a say for the long-term to protect the airline we’ve built and we’re not just subject to the whims of management who come and go, taking millions with them when they leave us.

We’re already hard at work supporting our sisters and brothers in the flight deck in their fight for a fair contract. Now, we’ll join together with mechanics and RAMP agents to secure a seat at the table for ourselves.

Together, we’ll work to lock in what we love about our work at Delta and to gain the respect that comes with a union contract. Our airline produced nearly double the profits of other U.S. airlines in pre-pandemic years, and Delta is on a path to record profitability again. But those profits have not been shared with us anywhere near the same rate as other airline employees lock in with their union contracts. Think about it: Delta makes the most by far. We should lead the industry the same way.

We are ready to secure a union and a contract to keep our share of the profits we create in the communities where we live and work.

We want more than 4%. We want more than boarding pay. We’re organizing for job security, to lock in what we like, and a place at the table to negotiate more.

Sign a card and get involved in our campaign. We’re making history — be a part of making sure the people of Delta have a legal say in our present and our future. Be a part of making sure we all fly higher together at Delta.

In solidarity,

Your Delta AFA Organizing Committee
