ABOUT OUR CAMPAIGN
Mission Statement
The mission of the Campaign Coordinating Committee (C3) is to have an industry-leading contract in the hand of every flight attendant at the new Delta Air Lines. In order to accomplish this, we need to ensure our two unique cultures result in one great airline.
We have the opportunity to become the largest membership in our flight attendant union.
The Delta AFA representation election will be held soon after the rule change, proposed by the National Mediation Board in November 2009, is announced and finalized. Our goal is to have an overwhelming majority of PMDL and PMNW flight attendants cast a vote for AFA representation.
When this goal is achieved, we, the Delta and Northwest flight attendants will have the privilege and obligation of setting a new global benchmark for the industry, returning fully merited respect and recognition to our profession.
As team members of C3, we feel honored to be given the opportunity to coordinate this campaign. We also recognize our responsibility in guiding our inflight peers through this process and providing the necessary tools needed for success.
Using an individual level of commitment and participation from the collective dedication of thousands of professionals from both companies, we can realize this vision.
The Campaign Coordinating Committee (C3)
The C3 is comprised of eight flight attendants: four from Delta Air Lines and four from Northwest Airlines.
The team members of C3 are committed to achieving a successful organizing campaign and providing AFA representation for the Delta and Northwest combined flight attendant group at the "new" Delta global airline.
